I am lucky to work with three great production mills here in the UK. I really value the depth and breadth of experience of the weavers and technicians I work with, making the process of creating a cloth a truly collaborative one.

Lancashire
I have worked for several years with a third-generation family-run mill in Lancashire. Now headed by brothers Lance and Adrian, their ‘can-do’ approach and belief in the importance of combining traditional know-how with new technology make this mill a joy to work with.

West Wales
Many of my designs are woven on shuttle looms at a small traditional blanket mill in West Wales. Husband and wife team Raymond and Diane both started at the mill as apprentices in the 1960’s and took on ownership of the mill in the early 1980’s. It remains a small family-run business, with Welsh often spoken in-house.

Isle of Bute
My Aerial upholstery collection is woven on the Isle of Bute off the west coast of Scotland. The mill was founded in 1947 in order to create employment for service people returning to the Island after the Second World war. In the years since they have become experts in upholstery fabrics with a deep-rooted knowledge of the specialism.
